Mt. Shuksan
Reflection Mount Shuksan reflected in Picture Lake in the North Cascades is one of the most iconic images from my state of Washington. It is located near the end of Highway 542, otherwise known as the Mt. Baker Highway. On any given fall weekend, photographers can outnumber just about anything else in the area. Best enjoy this scene on a weekday should you choose to visit. There are also many hiking opportunities in the area, including incredibly scenic Ptarmigan Ridge from road end at Artist Point.
